Muffler Help.

Hey guys, i have a 1999 VW Jetta 2.0 gas and i was wondering about aftermarket mufflers. i was thinking about a cherrybomb but i've heard good and bad reviews. i want a muffler to make it sound not to loud so i don't get fined and sound stupid but i want one to make it sounds kinda throaty and just a bit louder. if you have any suggestions or help that would be great thanks.

Hi jetta fan. Sebring and Jetex make the deepest and best sounds IMHO. The cherry bombs sound great but they are very load. The bigger the bore the deeper the sound generally speaking. (Big is not good for performance though)

not sure if jetex make them for the jetta cant remember seeing it on the list when i was looking for the bora

milltek and APR also do performance stainless for the mk4 Jetta both non resonated and resonated

the non resonated milltek comes in around £300 ( $580 ) and the apr around £400 ($780 ) but you may find them cheaper over there.
