What happens in the MOT if your cars emissions for CO2 are above the stated maximum for your cars tax band?
If it fails then is it possible to re-register the car under a higher tax band?
I'm sure lots of cars, even remapped ones, were so close to the tax limits that they are now just over them. Is there any leeway?
If your original engine emits 200gms and you put in a new engine that emits 300gms of Co2 which tax band is applied to the car?
What happens if you swap in an engine that was released without a co2 rating attached to it? IE if I got a brand new A3 and dropped in a Supra 3.0 Turbo engine - how would the tax work?
