Its equality day - insurance is gender free

Today is the day that premiums stop being rated on gender.

So what is the reality? Are premiums for men coming down or are they just charging more for female drivers?

like everything else, the government will make it look as though they are doing something about something and the industry affected will just exploit some loophole to enable them to carry on as before no matter how wrong they are to do so both morally and factually

This is the EU. And some monging blokes who got annoyed about women paying less. Women's premiums will now go up to match ours so most of us will be screwed, directly or indirectly. As me and the missus are named drivers on each other's cars, we will both pay more.
