Induction kit sound/performance difference on focus 1.6

How will an induction kit affect the sound and performance of my focus 1.6 zetec with a standard exhaust? Im kinda expecting the answer to be a slight drop in torque low down and mabe 3hp gain top end? but will i really notice the torque reduction? and how much more induction noise will i get over a standard pannel filter? itll sound louder and about what you guessed but 3bhp is being optimistic depending on how much access its got to cold air. chances are youll not notice the difference as you will be looking for a gain in power

is it just the sound your after ?

You won't see any power increase with just a filter but if you have a good supply of cold air then you'll notice it rev more freely.
