*I hope this thread is in the right place*
Sooooo, I went and bought a c35a (Honda 3.5 v6) since it was only a tenner, I've never really worked on engines before but I like getting thrown in at the deep end. I'd like to think I have alright knowledge of engines considering the above.
The question really is: what does it take to get an engine running?
I've stripped almost the whole thing down and have inspected all the major components other than the crank and they seem fine other than a small amount of surface rust in one of the cylinders.
The wiring harness is there but no ECU, it also has the starter, alternator and power steering pump as well as the water pump, fuel rails and Coil on plug spark caps (not sure if thats the right term)
I've had a good look around the internet and can't seem to find any posts like this so hopefully this could be a good help to any other idiots in my position.
