How can I make a 1.9 diesel s go faster

I have a 1.9 diesel S - seat ibiza r plate. It is quite slow. How can I make it more meaty?
 
K&N is a waste of time the VAG diesel runs pretty well
more fueling is done by mapping the ECU this also adjust boost
unless its the base model then it wil have turbo on it. if it the non turbo best dvise would be to get rid of it and buy the turbo model

but the 1y is almost the same as td aaz
but without turbo , injectors are diferent and pump too
internals tinny diferences in pistons and rods
people says since is cast d.td on block it as oil injectors for cooling pistons

here people are puting turbo on it
and gives more hp than just a td aaz

i want to put turbo on mine too
vnt 15 or gt 15 or kkk24
vnt is the favorite
put the td ou gtd pump
and injectores

but i never done it and i think theres manny people here that can give ;e some help with there experience and opinions

You can't really. You'd have to spend a fortune. Flog it and get one with a turbo.

Exactly my thoughts.

by the time you have all the changes made you could just have bought a 130 and played with it up to around 190.
im sure the small powered blocks arent as strong as the other ones as well so could well be less reliable
 
130 needs electronic management, my car its mecanic!
so to put 1 tdi engine ill need manny more pieces , more work , match more investment!
and its no fun ... every one puts a 130 with 190 ..
thats no glory in that , fun heya , but not glory ..

for put turbo on mine , i only need turbo , gtd exaust colectors , make a dril in bloco for oil return , ic , td or gtd pump with lda for extra gas when turbo kicks .
calibrate the injectors for deliver more gas .
put larger and direct exaust
and its about it ! i think

thats the fun .

put one engine that as 64 cv and tune it to 120 at lest!
less restrictive air filter do nothing in vag motors?
humm whats about more air going for engine ? bigger and more eficient bangs!
you can feel the diference , special in low rpm


1 mate of mine put 1 td aaz 75hp ( like i say its almost the same engine) with 185 hp before tuned
with this setup , altered td pump , turbo from leon 170 hp, exaust colectores from tdi 90hp , ic from megane dci . its playing with civics , gttdis , cups etc
so not all things are obvious !

of course 1y block as not mentioned to manage with manny pressure ,but still its a hard block .
