Clio External temp sensor

Hi guys

I have a 1.2 02 clio and weirdly enough on the little screen where it displays the external temperature mine ranges from around 30-50 degrees celcius - I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and what they did to fix it.

I'm guessing I will need a new temperature sensor?

Anyone know where this actually is on the car?

hey and welcome to the site mate.
not sure about placement in the clio but on most cars its behind the front bumper somewhere.
my mum and dads vectra did something similer, temp shot up them became just lines. turns it was placed close to the radiator, fell off and was chewed by the fans
