Mates, my ride is a CIVIC FD1 AT. with an R18A engine. Anyone have any idea what a Sports CAMSHAFT change would do to it? Thanks in advance.

It would give more top end power and greater acceleration. If he goes too mad with the profile then it will have a lumpy tickover, that surges.

None, just planning to remove pre-cat, swapped crankshaft to light weight and installed an SIMOTA Dragon (similar design to K&N Apollo).

What does it means for a car to go mad with profile and have lumpy tickover that surges?
