Alfa Romeo 33 1.7
Hi All,

I have a 1989 Alfa Romeo 33 1.7 carb... that engine doesn't have much power so I was wondering if somebody knows about any other alfa engine that will fit that chasis?

I'd like to stay with an Alfa engine to keep the spirit of the car, but I'd like to know some other options, maybe a JDM engine?

hey and welcome to the site mate.
not sure what engines will fit, have a look in the Alfa section as there was a member with another 33
 
You could fit an 1.7 16V qv engine in there...
You'll gonna need the ecu and engine wiring loom aswell..
Also don't forget the airflow meter (inbetween the airfilter and intake manifold)
But I assume if you look for an engine, you'll keep in mind
that the engine is complete with manifolds and stuff..
That's stock 139 horses.. (the 16V qv engine)
