i had cloth seats in my 156 and changed them for some lovely momo leather seats, but now due to the mot changes my car will fail as i have a airbag warning light showing. The old seats had side airbags, but the new leather seats dont, so that is why im getting the warning light. Does any one know how to get rid of this light, without it costing me a fortune ?? Been told that i need to fit a resistor in the plug to make the car think that the seats have airbags, but does anyone know what size resistor i need, i can get the light reset for a tenner, just need the resistor size please n thankyou..

I also have an airbag warning light and when I done a code read it came up with "driver's side airbag squib value too high" can anyone enlighten me as to how I can rectify this?
Thanks for any help
