air bubbles in fuel line

HI I have 1999 peugeot 206 1.9 diesel and after renewing the fuel filter have noticed lots of tiny air bubbles in the fuel line between the filter housing and the fuel pump, this is making the engine run very rough and keeps cutting out, anybody got any solutions to my problem please ?:(

not familiar with your Pug but air must be getting in via a faulty seal/joint so did you remove the old seal/gasket when you replaced the filter and was it tightened up correctly :confused:
It would seem that IF it was running fine before the old filter was removed then logic tells me it seems to be something you have /have not done correctly has allowed air to enter the fuel system.
