318ti Compact e46 Question :P

Hey all

I have just got me my first beemer and im wanting to deck it an put some new alloys on it. What spring kit should i use?



its a 318ti Compact e46

if your "decking" it you will need more than jut springs mate. otherwise you are going to have one uncomfortable ride.

for real low i would suggest coilovers

What brand would you reccomend? I dont want to to be too low to the ground, just makes it undrivable on the roads but enough to improve handling and look good

30-50mm is a good drop for most cars

KWs come highly recommended

I've heard that the Eibach ones are quite good for BMWs. What wheels are you going for?

Eibach springs do also come highly recommended especially when combined with a good quality dampner

I want to put BBS LM wheels on . I need to research how big I can go and how wide too . As I'm new to BMW im not quite sure what I can do with this car so tuning sites for this model could come in handy too

I hope you've got deep pockets then because BBS LMs are very expensive. I'm new to BMWs as well mate.

I've got an E36 318is mate. It's got an m-tec front bumper, lowering springs and an exhaust. All done before I bought it though.

Real LMs or reps. real ones second hand go for around £2k. would say 19's would be the biggest you could go
