Going to fit a 205 1.9gti to my p reg 1.6 306:p, had some info on it, looks like it could happen without to much problems. was advised to use carbs to eliminate any ecu probs so any info on which to use, weber, dcoe or bike carb.
Whats the difference between bike/car carbs and twin 45s/40s.
not really clued up on this so any help, info, or input, much appreciated

Best to use the webber 45's mate, you will find more problems fitting bike carbs, there are plenty of people who have put webber 45's on there 1.9 so there loads of knowledge out there so they are best to go for

Yeah, I don't think bodies are worth it if you are going to use a dizzy rather than a wasted spark system, also webbers are also reliable so you can't go wrong but don't expect anything more than 18 mpg though :p
