So from what i've came to find out, the DMF is going bad in my 2010 Jetta 2.0T gas, talking it over with a few VW techs/parts guy, i could possibly get away by replacing my DMF with a SMF without having to replace my clutch, release bearing,ect... How would it affect it lets say comfort wise? (as it is my daily driver, not race car)

Also, is it possible to swap out the DMF with a SMF without puting in a conversion kit?
