If you're intent on tuning the 1600 then it all depends on budget, intended use and power expectation (if any). You already have the exhaust manifold so that's a reasonable start. Carb-wise you have a choice....keep the existing manifold and throw in a 38 DGAS which, when set up properly yields...

Seen that one for sale before. Abaolutely beautiful in PTS colours. Would snap that up in a second. Seen T16's go for anything between £40k up to £90K. I suspect that one would be towards the top end of that. TT

Welcome to the forum, I'm new here myself. I do love Pug's, used to be a mechanic for them years ago. Like the 406 coupe a lot but my all time Pug faves are 205 T16 (the real one!) and 309 GTI. Still a few T16 for sale every now and them if you know where to look. Get some pics up mate :D TT
