Small cars - love em or hate em?

The smallest car I have ever owned was a 2.0 Nissan Primera so I can`t really say from experience but doing the ammount of motorway miles I do and the things I see it puts me off smaller cars somewhat, not that a larger car will always save you but I think you stand a greater chance. If I...

    Small cars in parking spaces

In the staff car park here at Southampton Airport I often think I see an available parking space, then I reverse all the way up the isle just to find a small car parked right at the back!!! Am I the only one that notices this and is irritated by the lack of consideration or am I just being...

Have you ever lost your keys?

I know that feeling, done that myself a few times. Another frustrating thing is losing tools!!! Spent hours looking for a misplaced spanner or tube of copper grease.

Have you ever lost your keys?

I had an old Nissan Primera as my first car, managed to crush the immobiliser fob in a door. It cost me £110 for a new fob and £150 to get the car to the dealers so they could re-program it!!! :sad2:

    Breakdown horror stories

I remember having to tow my mums AX off the M3 once, she ran out of water and ceased the engine. Luckily the junction was only 100 yards away. She thought she was in the AA but my dad had taken her off the policy and put my sisters name on instead without telling her!!!

    Bespoke exhaust Hampshire area

Wondering if anyone knows of any bespoke exhaust manufacturers in the Hampshire area. I had one made a while ago and asked for a standard replacement in stainless steel so it would last longer. When I picked up the car it sounded terrible, made motorway journeys very uncomfortable...

Fixed at last!!!!!! It was the EGR system, Totally blocked to three of the cylinders!!! Thanks to everybody for all your help, I have learned a lot in the last two weeks. Is it worth cleaning the EGR system on the Accord and the Legend (RL) at regular intervals anyway???

    1996 Accord 2.2 Vtec misfire

I have a UK 1996 Honda Accord 2.2 VTEC with misfire problems and running very lean on fuel. It is fine for the first 3 minutes from cold then starts misfiring under load (Gearbox engaged rather than disengaged), this occurs when holding a constant speed or lightly accelerating, this happens up...
