if was you i would try to keep the volvo head unit and just get a compatable changer. i know in some of the C70's they had the dolby surround sound stereo and speakers as an option you may find out that is what you have in yours. hope you get it sorted.

hi this is my V70 T5 it did have a RICA 310 map but after etm problems volvo flashed the ecu and uploaded new etm software which brought it back to standard. oh well it was great while it lasted. LOL

just thought i would add cars before 1999 ran dizzy and ht lead cars 1999 and after (ME7) ran coil packs and fly by wire throttle. ME7 engined cars more expensive to remap and don't like things like atmospheric dump valves.

hi you could also try changing the turbo to the larger S60R unit and also fit an exhaust with a race cat but these mod's would probably require a custom map. i had a remap on my V70 T5 as a standard car it was quick with the remap it was like night and day totally transformed the car
