    Mg zt

Yeah the 260 is a monster. 260bhp is shabby considering it's a 4.6lt V8 but it can be modified far easier than the V6 models. See below. http://mgf.rulezz.com/MD_Zeds_BonnevilleRecord.html 765bhp estate

    Mg zt

There maybe more powerfull cars about but I like the way ZT's look. It's nice on long drives too. But it isn't RWD, it's FWD. Getting to the engine can be a sod. They do make a tourer model if you need to squash a dog in :D

Yeah, a few more pics but couldn't take too many. The resin sets quickly and had to wear gloves.

    Mg zt

Hi all, Not posted my ZT pics up yet, so here's a few (and yes, it needs a clean!) I've replaced the standard halogens with projector headlamps & added a fibreglass bassbox.

    ZT 190+ Tuned

Thanks guys. I've a lot to look at now. From what I've read, the 190 has upgrades from the 160, so is kind of modded as standard. They have the same engine but the 190 has different cams, ecu, bigger bore exhaust system, and a few other things I can't remember. I was thinking of starting...

    ZT 190+ Tuned

Hi all, Haven't been on here for a while. Since my last post I've sold my Rover 75 and bought a ZT 190+. Fantastic car but really would like to boost the power a bit more. From what I've read it's difficult to tune with the 190. It's already been modded to a certain degree and performance...

How many problems have you had?

Yeah, should think thats the reason. Mosty likely popping as you said or otherwise causing a bottle neck? How many gunshot have you herd to know it sounds like one :D

How many problems have you had?

If the ZS is similar to the ZT then some of those problems could be related to the BCU (computer for windows, locks, etc). Disconnecting the battery for a minute can sometimes 'reboot' them. The backfire could be unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust. Could be running rich.

How many problems have you had?

Nasty list of problems. What MG do you have and year?

160 is the 2.5 KV6? Keep an eye on this VIS motors on the inlet manifolds. Most cases of power loss are due to them.

    Rover 75

I started my facia with the aim of a carputer but somehow got lost on the way. I still have the tiny motherboard and a few other pieces. The one I made was based around a single din panel (below). I then cut it to shape and smoothed out the angles. A dremmel style cutting tool is perfect for...

The alloys look great. You've even lined them up at the same angle, good touch.

    Rover 75

I like the KV6, I must say that the 2.0lt (mine) is a bit sluggish compared with the 2.5lt. Power is 147bhp before mods but has good torque; I think the 2.5 is 170. MG ZT KV6 give a 190 model. As far as reliability goes, the only engine problems I've had was a cracked thermo housing. The engine...

    Hello All

Thanks all. Parts are still easily available if you know where to look. It's performance parts that are difficult to source.

    Rover 75

New to the forum. Not done a huge amount of custom work yet but some of what I have done took me a long time (doube din facia - they don't exsist on 75/ZTs). Facia still needs a bit of work and inline filter yet to be complete. Fitted new dash and steering wheel although I have no photos of hat yet.

    Hello All

Just joined, fantastic looking forum here! I have a Rover 75 2.0 KV6. Excellent drive and comfortable but lacks power. I'm thinking of upgrading to a ZT 190 but the decision is difficult, I've become attached to my 75. I know the cars are difficult to modify but I'll post up what mods I've...
