For Sale: 1994 Toyota Supra MkIV UK TT Auto

Thanks, that’s a kind thing to say. It’s important to me that I don’t sell on any kind of false basis, and that I share everything I know about the car. It didn’t sell this time because highest offers were very low, so I have it booked in for some of the work mentioned in the advert. Now...

Supra TT Auto UK Spec 1994 for sale

Well, I am going to "take the plunge" and put up for sale my Supra. I'll get the numbers out of the way first then the description: Mileage approaching 102k (a few more will be added depending on when she sells, but I am keeping driving to the minimum necessary) Year 1994 Asking price £18k -...

    Supra going up for sale....

Great - I'll go ahead and do that :) Regarding price, it's not easy to nail it down to get the best balance between market value and genuine interest from buyers... if I put it too high then it will put people off, but too low means I am losing out... I have regularly researched what is being...

    Supra going up for sale....

Hi all, Before I post on PistonHeads, I thought I would do a quick shout-out here to see if anyone is looking for a UK Supra TT Auto? 102k miles... a few BPU, HKS super-dragger, Blitz Dual SBC, few gauges etc... Dark Blue... I've had the seats professionally recovered and added a Clifford G5...

    Clifford G5 Blues ...

OK - problem solved - dodgy installation where one wire was incompletely soldered. Looks like I will be trying to invoice the person who installed the alarm for the diagnostic costs! I took a few snaps of the weak join :)

    Clifford G5 Blues ...

Hi T9 man, I must admit I am starting to think that way myself now! I have been able to rule out quite a few things now, but what I've narrowed it down to is some dodgy connection somewhere inside a bowl of multicoloured noodles and insulation tape - I think I could have done a better job, with...

    Clifford G5 Blues ...

Thanks obi_waynne - I am borrowing a multimeter later today and will do some checks. The alarm is still well within warranty but the person who installed it is reluctant to travel out for understandable reasons - but has agreed to talk me through a few checks over the phone, which I will do in...

    Clifford G5 Blues ...

Hi all, Has anyone out there in TorqueSpace got an encyclopaedic knowledge of vehicle alarm problems? I have a Supra TT, and I paid a lot of money to have a Clifford G5 installed. For 6 months everything worked fine but now the alarm immobilises the car if I depress the brake pedal (it is a...

    Fiat punto mk2 2003 1.2 8v

Ha ha - there's one thing I can personally vouch for: with a Supra you have to shut your eyes when it comes to fuel economy: when I stand at the pump for several hours pouring in another £92 to see me another 150 - 250 miles, I have to power down my brain for a while :)

    Hello All :)

That sounds like a sensible way forwards. I think mine is somewhere around 380 at present, though that is an estimate from the dealer based on standard spec + Blitz dual SBC and HKS super dragger. (On that point, I'm slightly worried about having an exhaust in which I could smuggle small dogs -...

    Hello All :)

Hi TC, thanks for the warm welcome, much appreciated! I look forward to learning more and more. There are already some threads I need to post some congratulations to, for example the chap building "R2" from scratch - mind-boggling skills! I have a sneaky suspicion that I've stumbled into a very...

    Hello All :)

Hi Aerial Andy944, Yes, I must admit, it was the fact it was a UK Supra that led me to look past the naff pillar gauges etc... A few years ago I had a Supra that had been imported new then most bits converted to UK spec by Toyota - ended up selling that a couple of years after I bought it...

    Hello All :)

Hi TCJBOLDIE, and thanks for the tip. Yes, for sure, I will research thoroughly, as along with the lack of funds for dealing with piston rods poking out of the bonnet :) I also, after contacting one tuning company, realised that they don't seem to like the "take a few thousand of my money and...

    Hello All :)

Well... it seems rude not say hello :) I am in the UK and currently have a Supra TT Auto (UK), and it is reaching the stage of needing a bit of TLC here and in addition I am researching modifications for it. So far I have recovered the seats (and I gave the upholsterer artistic licence to do...
