First 120 km is only 74.6 mph, that is really not high speed. (try 140 mph :yahoo:)
does it happen on short or long runs? If only happens on long runs check lower radiator hose (we had same problem on the sprint cars years ago, found bottom hose would suck closed. if it does install a coiled...
Its best to do as OLD-GIT says. I hardly think 2 inches is worth it, but more than that an you have to move the mounting points. also make new control arms. You can by 4 an 5 inch offset wheels, but there really hard on wheel bearings an tie-rods

I assumed the same about the gauge being bad, (so i removed the PVC valve an you feel pressure from the intake, not it sucking as expected.)
