    Custom Hub Flanges

Eventually I intend to run two set o wheels and tires, the 15"s for road an 16"s for dry track. I have been pleasantly surprised with my current 15" all-seasons on wet tracks though. The wheel manufacturers in canada focus mainly on the pavement princesses (huge pickups with massive off-road...

    Custom Hub Flanges

Than you for the feedback. My end goal for this car is essentially a track day car, w w extremely street-able too. That's why I want to go with 280mm brake disks, rather than 300+mm. I want the taller sidewalls on the tyres for a bit more comfort on the streets. As for changing the wheel pcd, I...

    Custom Hub Flanges

True, it's not absolutely required, but makes it much easier to find the wheels with the dimentions and offset I want. Also it could make finding brake disk bells easier to find, and cheaper too.

    Custom Hub Flanges

Good day all; I have a bit of an ambitious long term plan for the brakes and wheels of my '02 MG TF and it all pins on having custom flanges with a different wheel pattern fabricated. I am tentatively planning on moving to larger, 2-piece brake discs all around (280mm by 22+mm vented up front...

'02 MG TF 135 Mod Advice

After a couple of real mods (Spax adjustable dampers, X-power springs) and some maintenance catch up I found that I am in need of bushings. I was planning on upgrading my bushings anyway so this provides a great excuse to do just that. I have a couple of sets in mind, but am not too sure which...

'02 MG TF 135 Mod Advice

You did mention that, Stamford, and I will be doing just that, spending time at MG's on Track events gleaning as much information as possible from other mgf/tf drivers. My philosophy when tuning cars is get the handling right for me then start adding power little by little, adjusting the...

'02 MG TF 135 Mod Advice

All in all, my goal for power is roughly 200 bhp but I am more concerned with sticking to the road or track. I do plan on adding some useable aero to the body as well.

'02 MG TF 135 Mod Advice

That is definitely an option I am keeping open as well. I am also keeping forced induction options open, more than likely a supercharger rather than a turbo (I like the more linear power curve of a super charger over that of a turbo) A couple of things I forgot to add under engine; 52mm...

'02 MG TF 135 Mod Advice

Hi all; I am starting to come up with a detailed plan for modifying my TF over the next few years. Eventually I hope to have this as primarily a track driven vehicle which will be driven on the streets occasionally. Here is a summary of my initial plan for mods (roughly in order); Ride and...

Proud new owner of an MG TF

That is one of the things I do plan on getting for it, if not right away, before next winter comes around.

Proud new owner of an MG TF

Thank you for the advice, Stamford. I do definitely plan on making it to some MG's-on-Track events, even if I am not running. My car requires a fair bit of maintenance before I even attempt a track day though. It will be nice to get a good few un-modified runs for a performance baseline.

Proud new owner of an MG TF

Greetings everybody; I have not been very active on here since I joined, but I have enjoyed reading a lot of the posts and the articles available on this site/forum. I just recently bought myself an all-stock silver 2002 (52 number plate) MG TF 135. I am thoroughly enjoying this car in stock...

    Hi everybody

Hi, I'm new to this forum, obviously, just want to introduce myself. I'm a Canadian who is moving to the UK this summer. I am planning on picking up an mg f/tf as a project car once I'm on the ground there. My intent for it is to be a daily driver/track day car. I currently have a Canadian spec...
