what injectors are you running? standard ecu? just because 1 ecu can cope doesn't mean they all do, positive boost pressure is massive compared to 0 positive. going to need a remap for sure! standalone is what id recommend, DTA, Omex, Canems, Adaptronic, Syvecs, AEM, MBE, Megajolt...

yup agree with all comments here so far, you would have to be mad to run a higher octane fuel on a fairly stock engine. im having the racecar mapped to Vpower and 2 separate maps for 107ron superfuel and supermarket stuff if im nowhere near shell. worth a watch...

Good friend of mine is head of development for a very well known Renault specialists. We have been speaking to Proflex, AST and KW. looking at round £1500-£2500 for good setup. Not driven her in a bit with the new multipoint cage, which has more than likly changed the complete characteristics...

lol, friend has a VXR8 and i love it, such a lazy engine. bar the clutch has been 100% reliable! does do 45mpg.....if your very gentle... but cough and it goes to 6.....or 2mpg LOL

Even though the dash isn’t fitted yet the dash fit is solid with new panel in! Then we set about fitting rear aerocatches to the bonnet a job I’ve put off for ages…so towed the car to father in laws for electrics Lil Fitted catches only to find that it then sat waaaaay too high on the car...

And set about marking up a newer mk2 Clio dash to try make that fit Hopefully the vents will pop back in after but I may just fibreglass the lot lol So got busy with grinder!We have a dash! Well a dash top! Out a Mk2 Ph2 But that’s all I need lol! Took a bit too much out but...
