How old is the car you are working on? Mine is 1967.

Vehicle is a Transit motorhome so quite heavy. Engine starts and runs fine and happily pootles along at 70. However, when trying to tow an aluminium box trailer with my Elan in it it struggles. With just the trailer I can just manage 50. I know that it is only a T2 turbo but I can't feel it...

Just watched an episode of Fat n Furious, where they were challenged to get a Chevy powered Vega, that is running 10s, into the 8s. To do this they fitted a nitrous kit. Their first run was 10.5. So they changed the nitrous jets and ran 8.7! Go to 35mins to see the runs :-)
