Is there not a tuner box available for the Hondas? We have the RS Tuner for the Clios, means you can map the car yourself. However these are just generic maps. You might be better off getting it custom mapped once you have done all the modifications you plan to do? L

I have Brembo High Carbon discs and Carbone Loraine RC5 pads. If your wanting a bit more speed, stripping it out will make it feel a lot faster and a lot more hardcore. I loved my clio stripped out, was mint!

Yeah I have looked at both of the conversions. ED one looks like it uses a cheap nasty turbo, not a Garett unit. I had thought the GT28R as my choice. I am basically sourcing all the parts myself as I have been able to find all the parts for the ktec conversion a lot cheaper! I am just going...

Isn't that Tigra mapped at RS Tuning in Leeds? One of the reasons why my Clio is going to be mapped there!

My ideas not good enough eh? Lol. I used to own a VTR, all I did was strip it out, decat, exhaust, IK and ragged the daylights out of it before p/x it for the 182!

If it was me, I would maybe strip it out, fit a couple of buckets. Get used to it as it is. Then think about bug upgrades. I've had my Clio 182 for two years and I am only just starting my turbo conversion!

You could port the head, this would help. But not a great deal. Is it going to be a track based car?

Yes throttle bodies will make it faster. Demon Tweeks would be a good place to start.

This is my friends Clio. This was only running around 240 at the time. It's been overhauled since then and it's an absolute animal, never been in a car as rapid as this! The boost bug has firmly got hold of me!

He's looking at fitting an LSD in the near future! I am thinking 300bhp would be amazing, but i would be more than happy with 280bhp! Seen some of the conversions offered by tuning companies and they're only around the 230bhp mark. I am uprating the pistons and rods as the kits don't do...
