i am fitting red stuff pads and brembo max discs all round, i called the stealers today and they said they don't replace them when they change the rear discs and pads. The parts are £66 each as they are part of the housing, so i will just clean them up i think.

yeah that is my thought i wouldn't have thought they would be too expensive but then again if i can only get them from a stealer you never know.

im not sure haven't priced them yet can't find them on the net or ebay will have to ring the stealers in the morning see how much they are.

Hi Gonna be fitting new discs and pads this weekend just looking through my haynes manual and it said i should replace the rear guide pins when changing the pads is this necessary do you think??? cheers Grant

hi i sorted the problem on the weekend, fitted a silicone replacement hose, changed the plugs and all coil packs and all the misfiring has gone, i have kept the coil packs as spare as i don't think they had gone but i liked the red ones on awesome so got them. cheers for your help

cheers for the reply, i think my engine code is ARY, i don't think the coils packs are gone because if the vehicle is in neutral then there is no misfire but when i start moving then it starts. not sure if it has an amp and not sure where it would be on mine its a 2002 a3. The hose that has...

Hi, My a3 started misfiring the other day, i put it on vagcom and it says on cylinders 1, 2 and 3, i took the engine cover off and noticed that the crank case breather hose has a big hole in it. Does anybody think this is the cause of my misfiring or do u think this has lead to other...

i suppose the ss exhaust is gonna have to wait, what can i get for around £600 then, i am running standard brakes at the moment gonna be spend abit on the car in the coming months.

Hi i have an A3 1.8t quattro sport 180bhp I am looking for some advice on what discs and pads to get, this is the fourth year i have had the car now and i need my fourth set of discs and pads as they keep warping (i am hard on the brakes). any advice???
