Hi. Thanks a lot for your reply. I'm not sure when it was serviced before I got it, but I did change the plugs and air filters (I have one cone filter per carb) about 500k's ago. Hi all. It's been a while (work!) I have an A14 s motor in my 1973 Beetle, it's running "ok" but I am sure that it can give me more/better performance. Hi all, from Jhb, South Africa
Hi guys. I'm in Jhb, good old RSA and am the proud owner of a '73 Beetle with a Datsun/Nissan A14S (1400) motor. Twin SU side drafts. I bought "Bailey" for a song and haved to spend very little so far. Any help with tuning specs, modifications etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.- AdrianBristow
