Hi guys

Got a 1.33vvt Auris (2009) which is a fine car but utterly gutless 0-60. After any pointers for things to improve low range power and torque to make it a little sharper out of the blocks.

TIA

Hello and welcome.

Anything can done with enough money poured in. What's your budget?
Is the car NA or FA?

NA. I'd be comfortable spending a few hundred quid but the car isn't worth loads and is never going to be a world beater.

Looking for components that are worth upgrading basically...

There's no replacement for displacement. You wont get much from a 1.3 litre engine.
However, you can upgrade the air intake with a decent filter (K&N for EG.) and cold air box of some type. That will get more, and colder, air into your cylinders.
You will then need to match it with fuel; remap time.
That would a see extra ponies but I would not expect ground breaking stuff.

Mo' money sees fuel pump upgrades, injectors, spark plugs, FA upgrades....

I quickly googled Lancashire (seeing you have tagged yourself as from there) remappers. There are a few options. I would find a couple you can get to and ask them in person. A good mechanic & mapper should be honest with you about what you have and what you are likely to achieve.

Still related to cars? Or are you being the old rude guy in the corner
