I currnetly own a Octavia VRS and have put on it a full miltek an 100 cell cat, carbonarer filter, N75h valve and a 4bar fule regulator........does anyone know if there is anything else worth doing to it befor a re-map and what sort of BHP i will gain?????

HI there szweda and welcome to TorqueCars. You've done the best and most cost effective mods. Something you might want to consider :- The turbo can be replaced with a better flowing OEM replacement - get one with ball bearings instead of the thrust bearings and it will spool up more quickly and last longer. There are a few turbo specialists out there but this could add another 100bhp to your end target so will make a pretty big difference.

a custom remap will take you to around 225bhp-235bhp with the above mods. From this point on you need to be looking at a FMIC and a bigger turbo or look to improve the handling with suspension/brake mods

if u please...can any one tell me if i can replace the 1.3L skoda favourite engine with 1.8L engine of an octavia because i'm so tired of the sick engine of mine:'(...i knew that it has a 54HP so i wanted a bigger one

hey mate sorry for taking so long to reply to this
yeah it can be done done but id advise to buy the 1.8 reasonbeing you will need most of the car anway for the swap.
engine
ecu
engine clocks (instrament panel)
gearbox
engine mounts
front hubs and brakes - this also means youll proberly need new wheels 4x100 to 5x100

i followed a guy that was putting a 1.8t from audi S3 into a 1.4 golf. he had alot of problems with the wiring and immobiliser (reason you need the clocks imob code is stored in there) broken driveshafts due to the mounts not lining up just perfectly, even now around 4 months later he is still haing issues

hope thats some help to you mate

some guys back in czech republic replaced favorit engine with MPI felicia engine. but that is huge rebuild. there was also some extremes like felicia engine on Skoda 120 L ) Most of these so called rubbish cars like most UK residents say, are used for motorsport. I guess it will not pass stupid UK emission laws and so on.

there is lots of welding done on car body to improve stiffness of car body. then fitting so much stuff that it seems to me waste of time and money to do anything on these good old cars.

I may even have some tech guides for complete rebuild to favorit/felicia kit cars :) unfortunatelly, only czech language if anyone is interested.

Skoda Octavia is a very classy and elegant car with sitting capacity of 5 members. The car has a spectacular design with unmatched beauty and grace that brings it at par with global standards. Skoda Octavia is capable of withstanding any bad road to bad weather conditions with the guarantee of keeping you safe.
But now the car model is expired.
