Yeah got the engine in place now, just got exhaust to swap over then its time for some fuelling changes i'm gonna use a facet pump which a friend gave me an external pump under the bonnet seems an easier option. wiring loom i've stripped out the dash and followed everything labelling as i go...

Morning ppl i've got a problem with a 525 td i've bought but its not the normal diesel knock. its coming from the top end. i've removed cam cover and span over the engine with a rachet all valves seem to be moving properly. would a blocked injector make the knocking sound? its more on start up...

glad to hear its not too much hassle. quite lucky in some respects i'm just buying a friends friend, insurance write off. It has to be scrapped otherwise id repair it with the panels off mine...i reckon it would be easier...gearbox isn't any good hole punched in the side. I'm gonna try and see...

i'm not in any hurry mate to be honest i would mjust change it to a manual first. gearbox pedal box flywheel etc loads of work but i'm sure it would be worth it.

obviously it aint no sloach 3litre v6 na produces 220bhp but in a car that size i aint sure. na trying to get a look at it today or tomorrow. would be loads better with twin turbos...lol if i get it might be worth changing to manual and twin turbos 321bhp then bit of a difference. 5 secs or...

Hi guys just wondering about getting a gto? it has a problem with auto box not selecting overdrive its a 92 model. what are they like to run? mpg? is there anything else i should look out for? common problems? :blink1:

I was travelling to work one morning and seen a chap hitching a lift so i picked him up. needless to say it was only a 5 mile drive but he didnt say a word holding on for his life...the next day i seen him again he seen me coming and put his thumb down...lol :lol:
