OK its something to do with the dodgy wiring on the immobiliser bypass. The fuel pump seems to be switching on before the car turns over. I think I may need to hire an auto electrician for this one....:sad2:

Hi, new car since I logged on last, its a 'N' 1996 406 1.8LX. I think there may be a blocked/failed injector or something, fuel is pissing out of every orifice on the the fuel rail, and the car is just drinking fuel. You can smell it quite badly when starting, and there are puddles of fuel...

Thanks Waynne, I was hoping to avoid the scrappy if I could, they want £20 a lock+solenoid. I've done some enquiry's and this is the cheapest way apparently. I've found a cheaper source on E-Bay now though, £13.48 for two doors.
