Well atleast its good news that the sensor isnt buggered haha.
Actually i'm not sure what the clearances should be. Let me do some digging and see what I can find.
A faulty airflow sensor can definintely affect your fuel economy. You can test it with a multimeter if you have one. Connect the multimeter to the sensor and check the reading at idle, increase the revs and you should see the multimeter reading increase proportionally to the increase in revs...
Well start with an end power goal in mind. Decide how much power you want (already mentioned you want more than 100kw) and whether it is realistic for the 1600 engine without forced induction.

A 1.2 is not likely to see much power gains for the cash spent on the engine. A good set of alloys, sports exhaust for some engine sound, lowered suspension and a 35% tint would...

A friend and I was driving back to his place the evening on a terrible piece of road and as we were talking and joking in the car I hit a really deep pothole. Heard a "thump" sound and carried on driving. Thinking in the back of my mind that I would check it...
When increasing the power and torque to those figures is it only the standard clutch that will give problems? Or are there other parts to keep in mind as well?
