Hi all,

Any S/S exhausts on the market suitable for my Astra, standard system is soooo quiet I barely bother my troublsome neighbours when I come home in the early hours

I know some tuned Astra owners who get them made. Try Longlife as they can make whatever you want with a tuned noise if preferred and choice of tail finishers.

I am lucky in having Falkland Performance Centre & RJM Motors on my doorstep who both make bespoke S/S exhausts should an aftermarket one not be available.

Will search around the sites suggested 1st though.

Remus is another I have heard of that work well on Astra's, think the track cars use them.

Remus was always a favourite when I had bikes on the road, again will have a look on line at this company for an exhaust.

Not sure where exactly Glenrothes is in Scotland, but this company: C+C exhausts based in Glasgow get very good reviews with regards to their custom stainless steel systems,

I'm only a 40 minute drive from Glasgow, forum has given me a good few options re S/S exhaust, will have to start calling around to get quotes before deciding on way forward, cheers all :bigsmile:

As an avid VXL nutter may I suggest you get a REMUS fitted by your local VXL dealer.This will then keep your warranty intact as it's an OE part.

Btw,I drive a CORSA VXRacing(520).

I was torn between a Corsa VXR Racing 2nd hand or the Astra I eventually settled on purely for the extra interior & boot space, have to admit it's smiles per miles when used.

Had an email from dealer regarding a service due, will investigate the Remus exhaust price with them prior to booking it in just in case that's the route I decide to go down & get them to order & fit it at the same time as the service. Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

I've traded my very low mileage 59 plate red VXR Racing for a 2.2 Antara. Why, because I've now got myself a Labrador & it suits my needs better. Loved the VXR for what it was but wasn't an everyday car I could use for work so had to go.

Still got a Vauxhall though!!
