Picked up my new runabout the other day, a 56 plate 1.9JTDM Alfa Romeo GT in Lipari Grey with red leather interior. Also has the optional £1500 18" wheel upgrade. Spent 4 hours last night washing, claying, polishing and waxing the exterior. Also cleaned and sealed the wheels. So, here she is! :o I will be modding her slightly but don't want to go too mad. Plans are: Give the Interior and engine bay a good going over. Clean, condition and protect the leather. Remap Possibly FMIC Lower 25mm on Eibach Springs and Koni FSD suspension. Alfa Romeo 4-pot Brembo Calipers and larger discs. Alfa Romeo Tax Disc holder.
Saw this very straight 70's Oldsmobile Cutlass (I think ) in my local carpark, the naff phone pics don't do the car justice. The matt black paint works really well with the chrome & the 442 decals on the flanks & rear. The Pseudo rivets aren't quite my cup of tea but then if we liked the same thing it would get very boring very quick! Aside from that the car looked just great!

Had a little play with one of the shots of the Calibra today to see what colour wheels are going to look best and i'm seriously not too sure as they both look really good. The wheels I want are from a Vectra GSi pre-facelift (Mk1 Vectar GSi) So first off heres the original shot:- And here are the 2 possible colour ways:- White. Satin Black with laquor over the top. What do you reckon I should go for then peeps?

Finally moved on from polo's and given this a try. What do you think. Good or bad? Also I have been told they are known to go through headgaskets so I am going to replace that asap. It is 2000 reg with 52,000 miles on the clock. The whole car is mint except from one small dent on the right rear arch which im probably going to get a body shop to repair it. But for now I am going to leave the car as is.

Hi this is my awesome chevy project :D it is a Chevrolet Suburban made in the fine year 1985 with a 6,2 liter diesel engine. the plan was to do something cool with the paint but since that plan was made the automatic transmission thought it would be a great idea to break down  but it is raised for 35" tyres by icelandic standards NOT the american way  So now the plan is... 1. Take care of ALL rust in the car ( witch is not much ) 2. Put some awesome color on it maybe matte black or matte candy apple red or maybe gloss candy apple red I have´nt made the selection yet :) 3. Put some cool rims on it 4. Stereo 5. Lighting ( xenon ) 6. Re-tint the windows 7. New Grille this will all take a lot of time but I...

Hey guys this is my Matiz. As you can see nothing has been done to it at all which is why I'm posting it. I was wondering if anyone can make any suggestions and also can I get green headlights bulbs for it? The picture of the front of the car is not that great but I will get a better one
now with pics a quite quick estate car Just registered so a few details of my car which I think qualifies as unusual Car is a Nissan Stagea - basically a skyline estate. Most have the single turbo RB25 engine with auto box and are quite rare. This however one is one of the even rarer cars with 4wd and the twin turbo GTR engine and manual gearbox . Cant post pics yet (under 10 posts) so a brief spec as I dont want to make my first post an essay Tuned RB26DETT engine dynod at 413 bhp with 340 ftlbs of tourque at 3500 rpm. Nismo body kit and recaro interior, Uprated brakes , suspension and steering .etc. Anyway Im now off to look at the rest of the site. Now have 10 posts so here are some pics
Here's the Volvo. It's my first car (I'm 30 now, had it for 3 years, late starter!) Modding it started off as just a Remap to perk it up a bit and grew from there... Runs 228bhp at the wheels 5000-6000, and 275lb-ft Torque at the wheels at 2500rpm on 97Ron 1/4 mile at 100mph terminal dead - There are quicker cars around, but you really have to experience the flexibility and mid-range of a tuned T5 to believe it. It's a torquey quick car out on the road during in real world conditions. Timed at 30-70=5.4, 50-70=3.0 - IPD Rear RollBar - Eibach Springs - Geometry Kit - Bell FMIC - BSR Downpipe, sports cat and SS exhaust - BRS Stage 3 remap - K & N Air Intake - Vibra Technics Gearbox Mount - Braided Brake Lines with...
Car was really dirty - I forgot it was Purple! The bug spray I used was rubbish - it left marks in the paint. Instead I used a halfords colour restorer which is a bit like t-cut but a lot milder. Rather than rub hard -wipe on and off and it took off the tar as well leaving lovely smooth paint. There were a few scuffs on the wing etc... so I used T-Cut to remove these. The alloys looked like they were black and dark grey! After washing the paint still had steaks so I used a shammy. Alloy wheels got a thorough washing over. I then scrubbed the alloys and use CITRIC acid on the areas which were badly soiled. The washed bonnet looked good but not a deep shine and there were still swirls in the paint...
Offerred to polish up a mates severly oxidised red Corsa (don't know what was worse, driving a Vauxhall or that it has winy windows!!!!!). Two passes with G3 and will go over the whole thing with a pass of Megs 83/80 (I forget which one is the lighter one). From this: To this: I managed to do the bumper, bonnet, wing mirror, and door before it got dark. You can see where I stopped polishing towards the back lol. What you reckon? Coming up nice so far no?
Well as the misses is now only 3 weeks away from having our baby, I thought it was time to move on from the Scooby and be a little more sensible for a the next 18 months-2years. So I decided to get rid of the scooby and get a bit more of a realistic family car but still has 200bhp Well i''ve come back to the Vauxhall world once again lol. So without any further ado heres my new motor. Well pleased with it. Absolutly mint, great service history, mint interior and with having a Billet flywheel it really does go well. Magnex back box which i'm gonna swap over for a new double d one. Cone filter which i've already reaplaced with a K&N panel filter and has actually made it accelrate quicker, so the same thing happened here as what...
But i do still have the Calli so don't worry, I'm not gettin rid of the old gal' just yet lol. Ok then people, here she is. Me and my missus bought it as she was looking for a new car but couldn't afford the whole lot. It's mint, it's got FVSH, it's 6 years old with just under 70,000 on the clock and got it for £1250. It's a 2.0 SRi (2.0 was easier for the missus to insure) and running 154bhp according to it's RR resaults. It has the prefacelift GSi front bumper and not sure what side skirts lol. It came with the 5 spoke GSi wheels but changed them for the OZ Super T GT's from my Calibra. It's had a couple of bits done but nothing which would harm the car in the long run such as K&N panel filter, cold air feed, sensible...
....with my mates WIP 399hp Cossie'd Mk2 Escort, and another mates newly acquired slow-as-fook what-the-hell-is-that-front-bumper S15 Type R (basic mods Circa 260-270hp). Turned the boost controller back up as 22psi is JUST about useable on OTR now, whereas last weekend the RS would spin up in 4th on WOT  Took a few snaps on the phone for prosperitys sake: Only cleaned the RS last night too and it's bloody filthy! S15 is soon to have new wheels with some nice dish on the rear, and a standard/Aero front bumper plus some more boost so it doesn't keep getting in the way  All the Escort needs is a better paint job, rear diff plus better tyres and it's practically finished. Silly quick though, just plain...

Well some of you might have seen my car in the other threads.. Here is a reminder of what it used to look like.. She stayed almost standard for around a year, and then at the French Car Show I decided that I wanted to change a few bits.. Here is how she looks now.. You can see for yourself most of the exterior mods.. The wheels have been refurbed and sprayed a colour which is between gloss black and a graphite colour.. I think this works well becuase in dark conditions it looks black, but they shine amazingly in the light. In these pics you can also see my new 266mm brakes which JUST squeeze under those tiny rims! She has also been lowered on 30mm Eibach springs just to keep the ride...

My Current Wheels, a 1998(R) Volvo V40 T4, 200bhp Turbo, she's pretty quick. My old work car until someone stole it!!! This was fun, my 1993 Volvo 850 T5 Auto.. Hope you've all enjoyed my little trip down memory lane, and i shall enjoy looking at pictures of what you all drive in oher threads..
I saw this at the Midland Game Fair this afternoon, at first I thought it was a Aston Martin Rapide but it's not, then i thought it may be a kit car based on a Nissan (see the Z on the front flank). Now I just don't know! Can anyone shed some light on this car for me please? :embarrest:

Met one of your guys today at BHP performance show, although I've forgotten your name, sorry. A bit about me I'm 21 and from London and drive a Satin Black Renault Megane, any questions feel free to ask Start of witha practice spray - a wing is good. Build up the paint in layers. I used about 15 spray tins of paint in the end I belive When it comes to removing the bumper it would depend on the car, I discovered that after removing all of mine, I didnt need to but for some cars, you would need to, I removed the bumpers, the bonnet and the front two wings, and then masked up everything else, when I done the car I didn't need to do any paint prep as the paintwork was only 3 years old, so I knew it was in perfect...
Hey All. Finally making the jump over to the Audi side, with this 2006 37'000 mile Audi RS4 (B7) Saloon. Having had the W8 for yonks, the dim-witted Haldex system on the R36 irritated me from day one. The more I drive it, the more it annoys me. Also, while the R36 is quick, I fancy even more POWER! Problem is, I keep the W8 too and have to tax/insure/maintain it to quench my thirst for a big noisy 8 cylinder engine. The R36's VR6 is somewhat mute and just drones with anything but a stock exhaust on it. The RS4 has more power, has the torsen permanent 4wd I like (rear bias on the Audi actually, as opposed to 50/50 on the W8) and produces an epic exhaust note. It's both cars in one - plus some  .. and naturally I...
